College - Hofstra University, Summa cum laude with honors in Physics. Received the Harold E. Clearman Memorial Award, for high quality research work, and the Sigma Phi Sigma Award, for excellence and honors in Physics.
Dr. Leopold is the current Head of Ophthalmology at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He is actively involved in many charitable efforts and acts as the Medical Director for the National Emergency Response Team as well as a Lecturer at Mount Sinai Medical Hospital. He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Dutchess County Medical Association, the New York State Medical Society and the New York State Ophthalmologic Society. His specialties include consulting on the treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy, Macular Degeneration and other retinal vascular diseases.
Hudson Valley Eye Surgeons offer a wide spectrum of eye care services, from adult eye checkups and well-child eye exams, to personalized laser vision correction, contact lens fittings, and treatment of cataracts and other diseases, including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease and macular degeneration.
